Q: Will I be able to bring my friends and colleagues to The Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch to take pictures of my Texas Pride longhorn steer?
A: Your friends and family members are ALWAYS welcome during scheduled visits. When a single large group such as a sorority, fraternity or business group wants to come to The Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch, we schedule a special visit to accommodate your needs.
Q: Can I, my parents, friends, business colleagues or others buy 100 shares of a Texas longhorn steer named Texas Pride and give it as a gift and place the ownership in someone else's name?

A: Absolutely! We encourage owners to express their Texas Pride in all forms and venues. Spread the pride as far and wide as you like!
Q: Will the pedigree and registration papers that I'll receive with my ownership certificate ensure that Texas Pride is not a buffalo in disguise?
A: There are few things you can take to the bank, but the authenticity of Texas Pride is something you can bank on, guaranteed!
Q: Will my fellow alumni and friends or associates be proud of me for displaying my Texas Pride ownership either in my office or home?
A: You'll discover they'll be proud and possibly just a bit…jealous. An ownership gift can relieve any jealousy and give them the same ownership experience for which you're so proud!
Q: Will I have any annual expenses for real estate taxes, liability insurance, unforeseen expenses for an illness, costs for entering Texas Pride into Texas Longhorn cattle shows or exhibits?
A: Absolutely not. Again, we handle everything so you can enjoy a hassle-free ownership experience. After all, "why buy the cow when all you really want is the steak!"
Q: Can I hang my certificate on any wall I want to?
A: Of course! However, we're confident that once you hold your very own certificate, you'll want to place it in a place of honor to prominently display your ownership of Texas Pride.
Q: Is Texas Pride related in any way to The University of Texas mascot named Bevo?
A: No doubt about it, partner! Not only was Texas Pride born on Texas Independence Day (March 3, 2004), but also has a genetic link to Bevo VII. Take a look at the Texas Pride pedigree page for further information concerning precise heritage. However, there is no direct affiliation between the Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch or Texas Pride and the University of Texas. Only Bevo 2008 knows if he's genetically related to Texas Pride.
Q: Can I expect my bragging rights and pride to grow once I own a Texas longhorn steer?
A: That is the sincere hope of everyone at the Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch, and we'll do our part to make it happen.
Q: Can I ride my Texas Pride Steer?
A: Only figuratively. Texas Pride is not trained to accept riders. When you look upon this noble Texas Longhorn Steer, you CAN proudly ride into the sunset knowing that you've proven your support and admiration for the traits and virtues manifest in the Texas Longhorn breed.
Q: Can I visit my Texas Pride steer on The Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch and at various Texas Longhorn Cattle shows throughout the year?
A: Yes! Owners are welcome and encouraged to see their Texas Pride steer in the competition ring at various exhibitions and shows. Visits to The Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch will be made available and scheduled throughout the year.
Q: Will I have any additional or recurring expenses beyond my initial purchase price for ownership of the TLBAA registered Texas Pride Longhorn Steer?
A: Absolutely not! This is the beauty of the Texas Longhorn Cattle Ranch and Texas Pride ownership experience. We assume all costs associated with ownership, including (but not limited to) all room and board, food and veterinary costs associated with ownership of Texas Pride. As we often say here on the ranch, "Why buy the cow when all you really want is the steak!" You enjoy the pride and benefits of ownership without any of the hassles. We take care of it all for you!
Q: Will I experience or incur any monthly costs for feed, vitamins, veterinary services, insurance or boarding?
A: No. You'll incur absolutely NO costs beyond your initial ownership purchase.
